Bumblebee — The Most Photographed “Thing” at CES

So I made it back from the 2008 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show, and I’m fighting a major head cold that’s left me lightheaded and feeling pretty beat up.

However, before I got too far removed from Vegas, I figuredBumblebee transformer I’d better make sure I uploaded this picture.

Turns out that Dolby had a pretty massive booth at CES, and dominating its booth was Bumblebee, the yellow transformer from Transformers (the movie).

I swear that one out of every two people walking by the Dolby booth pulled out their camera phone or a digital camera to take a shot. It really was pretty impressive-looking prop to have in a booth.

Not sure it will get anyone to buy a Dolby product or service. But then again, it did warrant a mention in Utah Tech Watch, so that ain’t half bad. ;-)
