Sash Management, a Bluffdale-based company doing business as Gift Card Solutions, says it has been purchased by Comdata Corp. of Tennessee.
GCS provides electronic gift cards, loyalty card programs, paper certificates and other related services for a number of industries, including restaurants. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Next time you head up to the Ski slopes on a UTA bus, you will be able to just “tap” your credit or debit card over some new-age device that will be able to charge you for a toll up the mountain. Essentially, you can now use credit to ride the bus.
